Shelby Weinstein

Group Exercise Specialty Instructor

Shelby Weinstein has been teaching with MIT Recreation since the fall of 2019. With a 13-year background in Ballet and a decade of Yoga practice under her belt, she brings a sense of fluidity and freedom to her teaching. Shelby also brings her experience as a Health Educator to Yoga classes, incorporating knowledge of mental health, physical health and social health to her teaching. She believes yoga is a sharing of wisdom and a way to work through the inevitable waves of life on your mat, surrounded by others doing the same. She invites you to come to class and to replace thought with breath.
