Fun Facts

Interesting fact

I wrote a children's picture book (about life lessons learned through running) from my journals of training for and running marathons.

The best thing that happened to you by accident

My senior year internship. As an undergraduate, I was not thinking of fitness as a career; however, this position in a corporate fitness facility sounded interesting. The manager hired me because I was a dancer and she believed the skill of dancing could translate to teaching aerobics. From teaching that first class, my passion for fitness began.

Favorite Halloween costume

A group costume with 5 of my college friends. We were a 3-headed monster, dragon slayer, princess and frog. I was part of the 3-headed monster.
