Lori Lambert-Osburn

Part time Specialty Instructor

Lori started teaching at MIT in 2021, and has taught health & wellness topics (nutrition, yoga, mindfulness) for over 25 years in a variety of settings (healthcare, higher education, public sector, etc.). At MIT, Lori enjoys the curiosity and engagement of the students, and overall, facilitating people’s wellness journeys to enable thriving and flourishing. Lori has her BS in Nutrition (State University of New York), MS in Nutrition (Tufts University), is a Registered Dietitian and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500), as well as a Certified Health and Well-Being Coach (CHWC). When she’s not teaching at MIT, Lori works as a full-time Wellness Representative for Massachusetts Interlocal Insurance Association (MIIA). In this role, she plans, delivers, and evaluates wellness programming for twenty municipalities around the state of Massachusetts. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, gardening, cooking, listening to music and playing with her dog.

Favorite Halloween Costume

My favorite Halloween costume was a mummy. I wrapped myself up in about 20 gauze bandages.
