Ken Bovell

Instructor/Coach

Ken started at MIT in 2015 as Head Coach of the Men’s Soccer Program. He has his BSc. In Management from Newbury College, USSF Director of Coaching Certificate, and is a USSF Licensed Coach. Ken was born and grew up playing soccer in Trinidad. Upon coming to the United States, he played soccer at Boston College and was a semi-professional player in the L.A.S.A. League with the Lowell Blues from 1982-1985. Ken has been coaching soccer for more than 34 years and even while playing, he wanted to work with young players. He finds great joy in watching the development take place. In his free time, Ken enjoys taking walks and listening to jazz.

My biggest wish is to hang an NCAA championship banner at MIT.
