Julia began teaching Fitness and Nutrition at MIT in 2021. In addition to teaching at MIT, she works as a Registered Dietitian at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and is a partner GRA in MacGregor. She received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Nutritional Science from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Science (MS) in Nutrition from the University of Saint Joseph. Julia has previously worked in clinical, community, and food service settings providing nutrition education. She looks forward to applying these skills to support MIT students as they develop healthy lifestyles while at MIT and beyond. In her free time, Julia enjoys running, weight training, yoga, and Zumba.

What are your favorite sports to play or watch

Hockey. I am a Pittsburgh Penguins fan.

What is your happiest moment?

I got married last year, and it was the happiest day of my life.

What is your favorite TV show?

The Office

What are some fun family facts?

I became an aunt to two nephews this year (Dorian and Tully).
