Emily Gray

Part Time Specialty Instructor

Emily joined MIT in 2023 as a Part-time Dance Instructor with Physical Education and Wellness. She graduated with her B.S. in Communications and Public Relations with a minor in Professional Education from the University of North Florida and her MFA in Choreography from Jacksonville University. She trained in ballet and modern with The Florida Ballet and spent time as a professional dancer/cheerleader for the NFL. Emily has been a dance educator for 20 years. She also enjoys running as a hobby and have trained for and completed five marathons. At MIT, she loves the opportunity to work with incredibly talented and motivated students eager to engage in challenging and groundbreaking research. Additionally, she appreciates the opportunity to work with colleagues who encourage her to make a meaningful impact on students’ education. Outside of MIT, she is the Artistic Director of Campus Dance Academy, a wife, and mom to five children.

Best vacation

My best vacation was when my husband and I took our children to Europe. We spent two weeks visiting Ireland, England, and France.
