Caiana Luse Moise

Part Time Specialty Instructor

Caiana joined MIT in 2023 as a Part-time Yoga Instructor with Physical Education and Wellness. She has her BA in Music with a focus in Jazz Vocal Pedagogy, NEC Prep with focus in Violin, Sound Healing, Yin Yoga, Trauma Informed Yoga, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Meditation, and is also a Swim Coach, certified in Mental Health First Aid and CPR/AED & First Aid. Caiana’s physical education experience includes being the captain of the basketball team in high school and then joining the swim team in their later high school years. She came back to her alma mater to coach the JV swim team and then transitioned to also teaching individual swim lessons. Through that journey, she found that warming up and cooling down was an integral part of a healthy and well-rounded exercise routine. From there, she turned her own personal yoga practice that began during childhood into a formal study, which yielded so many positive results affecting, but not limited to, her emotional and physical well-being. Caiana decided to expand her practice by sharing her love of yoga with others as well as integrating some practice before and after each fitness session she teaches. Outside of MIT, she is the Program Director for a non-profit called We Can Be WHOLE (We Heal Ourselves with Love & Empowerment) where mental health services are provided to mainly, but not limited to, BIPOC.
