Alyssa Diacono

Instructor/Coach

Alyssa started at MIT in Fall 2024 as Physical Education & Wellness Instructor and Water Polo Coach. She has her B.S. in Public Health, San Diego State University; M.S. in Organizational Leadership, Mercyhurst University; CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certification; NASM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT); and is a NASM Certified Nutrition Coach (CNC). Alyssa believes movement should be the best part of your day. Whether it’s in the pool or on the court, her goal is to make every Physical Education and Wellness course and Water Polo practice the most fun, energizing session her students have. She loves creating an environment where we work hard, laugh a lot, and build confidence, strength, and lifelong wellness habits along the way. Alyssa loves being able to give students an outlet from the daily stresses of such a demanding environment. Seeing them let go, move, laugh, and reconnect with their bodies reminds her of why she does what she does. It’s incredibly rewarding to create a space where they can recharge and find balance through physical activity.
