Please check the Open Course List located under the Quarterly Schedule section to see what courses still have openings. Contact the instructor directly to be added before day 1. If a course is not listed there is no space available but you are welcome to arrive to day 1 to see if any spots opened.

Mike Kalin

Instructor/Coach

Michael Kalin has been at MIT since 2008. He teaches sailing and skating and is a coach for the varsity sailing program. Kalin graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. He advises students never to take health for granted, and tries to practice this himself by exercising and eating well. Kalin’s happiest moment was the birth of his son, Carty.
