Michele McCauley has been teaching the Health and Wellness classes at MIT since 2009. Michele is a graduate of Bridgewater State University majoring in Physical Education with a concentration in Exercise Science and a minor in Management. Prior to MIT, Michele worked as a General Manager for many years in the corporate health club industry in and around Boston, MA.  As a certified Yoga and Mindfulness Instructor and 200-hour certified Yoga Instructor, she enjoys working with MIT students and providing them with skills they can utilize while in college and beyond. In addition to teaching, Michele is also the Physical Education & Wellness Program Coordinator where she oversees the registration process for all MIT students.

Fun Facts

Favorite activities outside of your teaching field

Traveling, photography, golf, volleyball and anything on, in or under the ocean especially kayaking and paddleboarding.

Favorite Indulgence

Watching comedy movies; especially some of the older ones.

Favorite place

Family's beach home in Brant Rock, MA but also has a love for Hawaii.
