Part-time Group Exercise Instructor

Anna Grossman has been teaching group exercise classes including yoga and Pilates since 2010. Anna holds a BA in mathematics & neuroscience from Franklin & Marshall College and is 200hr yoga certified. Anna began practicing yoga when she was in high school and has loved it ever since. She continues to learn about yoga, Pilates, and meditation, through classes and workshops, and enjoys sharing this education with others. As an undergraduate, she volunteered in local elementary schools in science and math enrichment programs as well as working on campus as a teaching assistant. After graduation she spent a year in Mexico teaching high school science and math. Yoga is a constant in her life, so when she realized she could combine yoga and teaching, she knew it was what she wanted to do. So many trainings later, and she is still enjoying sharing my love of it with others. Her favorite thing about teaching at MIT is providing a space for students to move and relieve stress.
