First Year- Swim Test
The Physical Education and Wellness office welcomes the class of 2030 to participate in the First Year Swim test.
Students who are confident they will pass the swim test are invited to attend during the times posted according to their last name on the pool deck.
An MIT ID (card version only), towel and swimwear are required to participate in the swim test. Upon completion, students will check out and will receive the 2030 t-shirt gifted to them by Department of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation (DAPER).

Students who are unable to swim are requested to meet with the Physical Education & Wellness representative to pre-register for a swim course during the 2026/2027 academic year in the lobby of the Media Room. Upon checkout, they will receive the 2030 student t-shirt.
Class of 2030 T-shirts will only be available at the Aug. 30th swim test!
